GRS Talent Star 2026 is a unique event that celebrates and promotes the talent of young students across Mysuru, bringing schools together for a day of creativity, confidence and friendly competition.
1,000 students from 300+ schools (State, CBSE, ICSE & IGCSE) come together to showcase their gifts across three exciting competitions. Because this event exists to discover hidden talent, there is no entry fee.
One student each from 5th, 6th and 7th standard, any section, Kannada or English medium.
Each student can participate in only one competition. No multiple entries.
A school can send entries for all three events or just any one of them.
Each school sends one teacher to accompany the students throughout the event.
Colour a picture on one of three themes using only crayons. 90 minutes of pure creativity.
A written test followed by an oral final round. Prepare from the 400-word Spell Bee list.
Perform to a film song of your choice, max 4 minutes. Bring your energy and expression.
Creativity · Neatness · Theme · Colour Composition · Overall Presentation. The judges' decision is final.
Allowed: Crayons and a waste cloth. The colouring sheet is provided by the organizers.
Not allowed: Water colours, oil paints, poster colours and paint brushes.
One student from Class 5 per school, any section, Kannada or English medium.
An exam pad and a blue pen only.
Prepare from the 400-Word Spell Bee list shared with the invitation. All words are chosen from it.
Top scorers advance to spell 5 words aloud on stage. Ties are settled with progressively harder words until winners are decided.
Film songs in any language. Fusion of film songs is allowed.
Not allowed: classical, folk or item songs, or any inappropriate lyrics.
Expression · Dance · Costume · Makeup · Properties · Overall Performance.
Bring the song on a Bluetooth-ready phone, fully charged, on Airplane Mode. The student's teacher operates it. Keep a backup recording.
Wear a suitable dance costume. Choreographers and parents are strictly not allowed at the venue. Keep everything school-appropriate.

Report at the venue by 7:45 AM. Participants and teachers may not leave during the event.
Wear school uniform, except dancers, who may wear their dance costumes.
Lunch is provided for 3 participants + 1 teacher per school. Juice is served at the morning break; no breakfast is arranged.
One teacher must accompany the students and stay with them till the end, responsible for their safety and discipline.
Choreographers and parents are not permitted at the venue.
Schools arrange their own transport to and from the venue.
Register through the QR code and enter each student's full residential address correctly.
A registered participant who can't attend may be replaced by another student for that event.
Prizes are given the same day at the valedictory. The judges' decision is final in all events.
Maintain good behaviour, discipline and cleanliness throughout the event.
